Borderline.

The blanket of grey covered the sky,
The crowded street now was under the cover...

Alone and apart in this drizzling hour,
There stood a girl drowned in her thoughts...

The heavy drops of rain merging in her tears,
Momentary flashes of lightning reflecting in her eyes,
Speechless and selfless the thunder filled the vacuum...

Her mind wavering like an indifferent cloud,
Her actions broken down like the twigs in the storm,
Her hope washed away in the flood of events,
Trembling in the rainy dusk she looked ahead...

The grey was fading away and the light sneaking in,
The down pour winding back as the time moved ahead,
The cold wind gently drying the tears inside...

The hope rekindled in this momentary lapse of uncertainty,
Wading from the hanging dagger of borderline,
She had for the moment, come back to her self...
