Trance & Love

Down the darkened lane an amber glows,

And the grey shades turn into vivid ecstasy,

While the time slides into trance…

Heart pulses your brain,

Moments turn into vibrant images,

Strokes of beauty dissolves the darkened lanes…

Drops of rain sieves into the soul,

And the soul ignites passion,

Passion fires the latent spirits…

In the union of spirits,

Two twine in one flame,

And a new hope ignite…

In the trance light suddenly flickers,

And the thunder storm rises,

Extinguishing the blaze,

As the moment slowly vanish,

And the darkness creeps in…

The images bleed in the strokes of night,

Engulfed in long shadows,

Lives thrown into the wild tides,

The boat of hope wrecks in two,

As the time broke the trance…

TRANCE

Following  the trail of the past,

I met her in the crowded streets…

Walking  along to the subway,

Sharing the moment,

We took  the shot of trance.

The next moment I was making love to her,

In the desolate room down the lane…

The light was sieving in,

As  I looked into her eyes,

The dark cloud of fear in her swamped me…

I was sucked into the dark; as  the time went back,

Holding her hand travelling in the  darkened path,

Scared and scarred, she took me along with her,

The predators ran behind as they grabbed her…

Lost in the dream I couldn’t  find her,

But  the ribbon of innocence…

I took the ribbon and looked up,

The time had slipped by…

I was standing in the midst of flesh dealers,

Dragging her on the streets,

She was sold and sold to the soulless,

As I was beginning to vanish in  her dreams,

I woke up in the disillusionment…
